Egyptian or Cartouche cards are a set of 25 cards that are used for fortune telling and giving us messages from the higher self or God. The ancient Egyptian symbols depicted on the cards capture the essence of the forces or energies that govern the universe. The symbols, colors and meanings of the cards accord both with the designs found on Egyptian temples, pyramids, tombs and old papyri, and with a secret arcane tradition that has been handed down from century to century.
Vibrations are passed subconsciously to the cards when you handle them, so the order in which they fall in a reading is directed by the promptings of your subconscious mind. Normally in life we tend to create a barrier between our conscious and subconscious minds through the overuse of logic. These cards contain Egyptian symbols which have different meanings when they fall upright or inverted in a card reading. After shuffling the cards when we spread them in Horoscope spread it give us an overall view of our personality, finances, communication, home environment, Career, health, marriage and children. The Sixth House in the Horoscope spread represents the Health house. Egyptian Cards are also used to give information about the health condition of the inquirer.
If the Card ‘Air’ comes upright in the sixth house it means the person has Vata type of constitution in the body. Vata is stimulated by pungent, bitter and acidic foods. Ayurveda recommends sweet, sour and salty food to a person with vata personality. If the card is inverted in the sixth house it means the person is prone to Vata disorders like Nervous system disorders, tremors, convulsions, dysuria, Insomnia, headaches and arthritis.


If the Card ‘Fire’ falls upright in the Sixth house it means that the person has Pitta type of constitution in the body. Pitta is stimulated by Sour, salty and pungent food. Ayurveda recommends sweet, bitter and astringent taste food to a person with Pitta personality. If the card is inverted in the sixth house it signifies that the person is prone to pitta disorders like Ulcers, acidity, boils, skin rashes, Stomatitis, Jaundice.


If the card ‘Water’ comes upright in the Sixth House it means the person has Kapha type of constitution in the body. Kapha is stimulated by sweet, sour and salty food. Ayurveda recommends Bitter, pungent and acidic food to a person with Kapha personality. If the card is inverted in the sixth house it signifies that the person is prone to respiratory disorders, colds, flus, asthma, bronchitis, swollen glands and diabetes.
